So we finally got an EV and had to figure out the charger situation. Did a ton of research, settled on a Level 2 setup. The electrician came out, ran a dedicated 50-amp circuit from the panel out to the garage. Took about four hours total, including mounting the unit and drilling through the wall. No more relying on the slow 120V outlet.
